2024 All-City: Courage, competition, and community – United in 10 lanes

All-City 2024 will unify the 13 pools in the Madison area at one of the largest outdoor amateur swim meets in the country. Thousands of swimmers of all abilities and their families and friends will gather at Shorewood Hills Pool to celebrate the sport of swimming.

Shorewood Hills Pool’s ten-lane format will be an ideal venue for swimmers ages 4-18 to showcase their skills and dedication to the sport, while thousands of spectators celebrate their athleticism and their inspirational stories.

This celebration of swimming will flow throughout the Shorewood Hills community center, Post Farm Park, and the surrounding neighborhood. Swimmers will gather together under thirteen colorful tents – one tent for each team in the league – to enjoy time with their smaller pool communities.  A variety of vendors will provide refreshments.

In addition to swimming events, teams will also compete for the “cleanest tent award,” and coaches will compete for best group costume each day. Teams will also vie for the honor of most funds raised for and most hours volunteered at Second Harvest Food Bank, our community partner.

Shorewood Hills Pool, built in 1970 and the only Olympic-sized outdoor pool in Madison, is honored to host the 2024 All-City Championship Swim Meet. As one of the original five All-City swim teams, Shorewood Hills Pool is honored to bring swimmers, families, friends, and neighbors together for three days of competition, collaboration, inspiration, and community that unify our swim community, the City of Madison, and beyond.

See you at Shorewood Hills Pool August 1-3!

About the All-City Swim and Dive League

The All-City Swim Meet, founded in 1962 with just five teams (Ridgewood, Hill Farm, Shorewood, West Side, and Maple Bluff), has since grown to thirteen teams, comprised of thousands of swimmers of all abilities, who spend each Saturday competing in dual team meets from June through July. The culmination of the season at the end of July brings together all thirteen teams for the All-City Championship Swim Meet.
